Celebrate World Run Day!

Today is WORLD RUN DAY and there is a group of runners meeting at the Tripp Road parking lot of the Bangor City Forest from 10 am on to celebrate. As a side note don't forget about Daylight Savings Time or you'll be an hour late :o)

One of the runners heading to City Forest in the morning is Jaime Boynigton so look for her in the crowd. And thank Jaime's trainer, Katie Herbine of Finish Line Fitness, for this fantastic celebration of running, a privelege we sometimes might not consider as such.

Runners will gather at 10 am to run the first loop (starting and ending in the Tripp Road parking lot). After that runners may continue on to a second shorter loop and then a third even shorter loop. If you can't make it at 10 we hope you'll show up when you can. There are bound to be runners starting out at Tripp Road throughout the morning and afternoon who would love your company.

If you plan to run please leave a comment and tell us so. And while you're at it tell us why running is such a privelege for you. We know it is for us and we remind ourselves of this often.

We hope you got your extra hour of sleep and wish you a Happy World Run Day!
