Giving Thanks

With Thanksgiving approaching, we've been talking a bit more at my house about gratitude and being thankful for what we do have. It's not an earth-shattering concept but I definitely need a little reminder now and again. For me, stopping to think about the good things in life not only puts me in a better place but gives me a little more energy and motivation to get through some of the challenges. And, who couldn't use a little extra energy and motivation at this time of year, especially with our FITT Challenge going on? (I don't know about you guys, but I need all of the help I can get staying active and resisting overindulging on treats during the holidays!! Well, really, who am I kidding? Make that all year round!)

So, for each day this week, we've decided to share some of the many reasons we have to give thanks. We'd love to hear yours too!

I am thankful for wonderful running friends new and old, and those I have yet to meet. I've met amazing people through this running thing and am thrilled to be able to share the journey with them as well as share in their triumphs.
