On the Run in January!
It's a new year, and while there may finally be some snow on the ground, it's the perfect time to get out and racing! You might want to start with the Cabin Fever 5k in Hartland this morning at 9am. The race is part of the Teachers On the Run series, starts at the Hartland Consolidated School and helps raise money for the construction of a track for the school. Registration is only $3 (you can't beat that price!!) and is open from 8:00-8:45am.
If you're looking for something a touch longer (or if you run REALLY fast at Hartland), consider heading down to Belgrade for the 33rd Annual January Thaw 4.5 Mile Road Race, Belgrade, ME. The race starts at 10:00AM at the Belgrade School at 158 Depot Rd. All our best to Jen B who is tackling this one!! Go get 'em, girl!
